SharePoint Online
Microsoft 365, which includes SharePoint Online, has been a big success for organisations. SharePoint online is a storage solution where your business’ files are stored in the cloud. As SharePoint Online doesn’t require as much infrastructure as SharePoint on-premises, it is a lower-cost and less complex solution for storing your data. SharePoint online allows your team to store and share data securely over the internet, making collaboration effortless. Get in touch and we will be happy to offer advice on how you can automate manual and repetitive tasks with SharePoint online!
How an effectively set up and managed Microsoft 365 & SharePoint can help grow your business.
SharePoint is used by organisations to connect users to information. You can use SharePoint as a secure place to store, organise, share and access information from almost any device. All you need is a web browser! SharePoint can be deployed from either an on-premises server or via Microsoft 365. SharePoint is a free server add-on to a Windows server. Likewise, it is included in your Microsoft 365 subscription. Rosh Tech has the expertise to set up your SharePoint and Microsoft 365 effectively and securely from start to finish, with your needs in mind. As a local Brisbane business, we are easy to contact for support. Our technicians work across the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ballina, Yamba and all along the east coast to Coffs Harbour, getting to you quickly to offer support. Some of the popular uses of SharePoint by SMBs include:
Company Intranet
SharePoint can be used for a company intranet by providing a centralized platform for document management, team collaboration, internal communication, and workflow automation, enhancing productivity and information sharing across the organisation.
Document Library
SharePoint's Document Library allows users to store, organise, and manage documents securely. It supports version control, metadata tagging, and collaborative editing, enhancing document accessibility and teamwork within the organisation.
Lists & Workflows
SharePoint can be used for lists and workflows by enabling users to create, manage, and automate tasks, track progress, and streamline processes, improving efficiency and collaboration within the organisation.
Calendars
Some of the favourite features requested by organisations when they review their approach to knowledge management include:
Versioning
Previous versions of your documents are stored so that you can refer back to them when you need to.
Recycle Bin
Deleted documents are moved to a recycle bin after they are deleted from the page. When they are deleted from the recycle bin, they are moved to a site recycle bin where the SharePoint administrator can recover them.
